JCB lowers the age limit for applying for the Platinum Card by 5 years. New cardmembers can receive 50,000 yen worth of Hoshino Resort accommodation coupons.

On December 3, JCB (JCB) revised the eligible age range for applying for JCB Platinum from 25 to 20.

As a result, the application requirement will be that the applicant must be at least 20 years old and have a stable and continuous income. Students continue to be ineligible.

In addition, a “Hoshino Resort Accommodation Gift Certificate worth 50,000 yen” campaign will be offered to new JCB Platinum members. The period is from December 3 to February 28, 2025.

To qualify for the gift certificate worth 50,000 yen, you must either newly enroll or switch to JCB Platinum, log in to the MyJCB application, and then spend a total of 2.5 million yen or more during the specified period. The period is from December 3 to May 15, 2025 for December enrollment, from January 1 to June 15, 2025 for January enrollment, and from February 1 to July 15, 2025 for February to March enrollment.
