Rakuten Stay, the lodging and private accommodation platform, is renamed “Rakuten Oyado”. Campaign for awarding 5X points is also available.

On December 3, Rakuten STAY changed the name of its lodging and private accommodation platform “Vacation STAY” to “Rakuten Oyado.

Vacation STAY launched its service in conjunction with the implementation of the “Residential Accommodation Business Law” (i.e., the new minshaku law) in 2018, and currently offers a choice of approximately 140,000 rooms, including hotels and ryokan, villas and cottages of the single-building rental type, and condominiums, apartments, and condominiums.

In conjunction with the renaming, a campaign is also underway, offering 5 times more Rakuten points than regular reservations by making a reservation at Rakuten Oyado and paying with Rakuten ID after making an entry. The reservation period is from 12:00 pm on December 3 to 11:59 pm on December 17, and the applicable stay period is from December 3 to March 31, 2025.
