Tobu Railway will suspend service between Asakusa and Hikifune Stations due to the elevated switchover of the down line for the Tobu Isezaki Line (near Tokyo Skytree Station) Continuous Elevated Crossing Project being promoted by Sumida Ward. The period is from around 19:20 on March 1, 2025 to the end of the line.
During the period, sectional express, sectional semi-express and local trains will turn back at Hikifune Station, and limited express trains will turn back at Kitasenju Station.
Direct Hanzomon Line trains will not be affected. On the day of the event, replacement trains will be available from 7:00 p.m. until the last train.
With this switchover, the elevated section will be in service on the down line and detention line between Tokyo Skytree Station and Hikifune Station from the first train on March 2, and one level crossing will be eliminated.
