VALORE is selling a Japanese-made wristwatch with a pilot chronograph inspired by the Blue Impulse in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force on Makuake until February 27, 2025.

Available in silver, navy, and black, the regular price is 39,600 yen, with a 30% discount (27,720 yen), including a very early bird discount.

This special model was produced under the slogan “Challenge for the Creation” of the Blue Impulse, and features the official Blue Impulse emblem at the 12 o’clock position. The official emblem is also engraved on the back cover, buckle and crown.

The chronograph is designed to resemble a cockpit and is a pilot’s chronograph with a rotating aviation slide rule. The outer bezel rotates, and in combination with the scale on the inner inner bezel, allows easy calculation of multiplication and division, and measurement of time, speed, distance, fuel consumption rate, and altitude gain rate calculation. It also has a stopwatch function.

The in-dial features a “T-4” design with Blue Impulse specifications, and the second hand is also designed to resemble a Blue Impulse fuselage.

The movement is made by Seiko Epson (YM12) and uses a button cell battery with a 5-year battery life. The short and long hands and indexes are luminescent, ensuring legibility at night and in dark locations.

The silver color is two-tone navy, and the dial is a “sunray dial” that changes color depending on the angle from which light strikes it.

The inner bezel, inner dial edge, and indexes are silver in navy, and the navy dial is designed to reduce light reflections.

Black is a new color, and the design is said to be suitable for use anywhere, regardless of attire or TPO. Both cases measure 40 mm and are water resistant to 10 atmospheres.

A genuine silicon rubber strap is also included as a bonus for supporting purchases on Makuake. An option to engrave a name or anniversary date on the back cover is also available for 3,850 yen.
