LINE Yahoo! Japan launched a new feature called “snow depth mode” on December 9 that allows users to check snow accumulation on the Yahoo!
The “Snow Depth Mode” displays information on snow depth from 24 hours ago to 6 hours later on a map in 12 different colors. The user can check how much snow has accumulated so far and how much snow is expected to accumulate in the future. This feature is said to be useful for planning winter sports and other activities.
To use this function, select “Snow Depth” using the mode switch button at the bottom of “Rain Cloud Radar. By moving the slider to the left or right, you can check the depth of snow cover from 24 hours ago to 6 hours ahead. By pulling up the sheet at the bottom of the screen, you can also check the snow depth at the center point of the map in a graph.
