HapiLine Fukui resumed sales of the original design ICOCA on December 13.
The design was introduced to coincide with the start of ICOCA service on the entire Happiline Fukui line (between Tsuruga and Daishoji stations), which opened on March 16, and combines the triangular and diamond shapes of the logo to depict Fukui’s symbol, the walking dinosaur.
The price is 2,000 yen (1,500 yen + 500 yen deposit). HapiLine Fukui manned stations (Ashihara-Onsen, Fukui, Sabae, Takefu, and Tsuruga) will handle the tickets. For the time being, regular design ICOCAs will be sold at ticket vending machines at manned stations.
