On December 17, JR East announced that it plans to launch the integrated ID service “JRE ID” in February 2025.
It allows seamless use of various JR East Group digital services such as Mobile Suica, ticket reservation “Ekinet”, and mail order site “JRE MALL” with a single ID. Each service will be introduced gradually toward fiscal 2027.
To register as a member, you need to newly register or switch to JRE ID from each service. New registration from the JRE ID website is not accepted.
The integration of IDs is one of the initiatives set forth in the JR East Group’s medium- to long-term business growth strategy, “Beyond the Border,” which calls for the provision of various services centered on the Suica application from fiscal 2028 onward.
