JR Kyushu’s Miyazaki Daisuki Pokemon “Nassie” Wrapping Train. Started operation on Nippo Main Line/Nichinan Line.

Posted on 2024-12-172025-01-21 by Editor in Chief

JR Kyushu Miyazaki Branch will operate the “Nassy Train Miyazaki,” a wrapped train featuring the Miyazaki-daisuki Pokémon “Nassy,” from December 18.

The line sections served are the Nippo Main Line (Miyazaki to Minami-Miyazaki) and the Nichinan Line (Minami-Miyazaki to Shibushi). The side of one Kiha40 car features a design of Nassie and Arora Nassie, which look like palm trees that grow in Miyazaki Prefecture, which has a mild climate.

On the first day, a departure ceremony will be held with the participation of the prefectural governor and Nassy (departing from Miyazaki Station at 13:19 for Aburatsu). The wrapped train is scheduled to run until March 31, 2026.
