On December 18, ANA Trading released a new type of cart (unused) for beverage service onboard ANA flights. The price is 190,000 yen (plus 2,750 yen for large package shipping). It will be available at the official e-commerce site “ANA Shopping A-style” and “A-style ANA Mall Store”.
The cart, which has been used on retired aircraft, was first sold to Corona Disaster, and the response was so strong that the company decided to resell it after receiving requests for a different type. The new cart for sale is up to 10 kg lighter than the previous model, and is a new model that has been installed onboard aircraft since the 2020s.
Each Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will reduce weight by approximately 580 kg, which will reduce fuel consumption by approximately 5,700 tons per year for all airplanes owned by ANA. This contributes to a reduction in CO2 emissions equivalent to approximately 17,500 25-meter swimming pools.
Four drawers are included inside the cart of the product, which can be used as home decor or storage items. In addition, a special set of three stickers with the ANA logo and aircraft shadow design is also available. Customize the product to your own taste.
The unit measures approximately 30.1 cm x 40.8 cm x 103 cm (W x D x H) and weighs approximately 11.3 kg.
