Daiwa House Realty Management, a member of the Daiwa House Group, has launched a new hotel brand, BATON SUITE, and will open its first hotel, BATON SUITE Okinawa Kourijima, on March 27, 2025. In conjunction with this, the company will begin accepting reservations at 3:00 p.m. on December 19. Room rates range from 30,000 yen to 300,000 yen per room (example).
While leveraging the quality of service obtained through the nationwide urban hotel chain “Daiwa Roynet Hotels,” the company will enter the resort-type hotel business to meet more diverse needs, not only for business use, but also for holidays and private use.
BATON SUITE Okinawa Kouri Island is located on Kouri Island in northern Okinawa, known as “Yanbaru,” and all 35 guest rooms overlook the clear and beautiful ocean and the Kouri Bridge, a famous tourist attraction. All rooms are spacious suites of approximately 67m2 and can accommodate up to four adults.
Rooms with mini-kitchens for long-term stays and villas with private terraces that can accommodate up to one pet dog (10 kg or less) are also available. The four-story building also features a swimming pool, spa, stores, and a Mediterranean restaurant.
Access by car is about 90 minutes from Naha Airport and about 30 minutes from the Kusuda Interchange on the Okinawa Expressway. The theme park “JUNGLIA” is scheduled to open in 2025 in the vicinity of the hotel.
