JAL will expand the benefits of the JAL Life Status program, which provides status and privileges with lifetime achievement points, starting in January 2025, the first anniversary of the program.
One is the extension of the mileage expiration date, from 36 months for JMB elite/elite plus and JGC Three/Four Star to 60 months for JMB elite/elite plus and JGC Three, and indefinitely for JGC Four/Five/Six Star. Five/Six Star will be indefinite.
In addition, JGC Six Star will be granted the new JMB FLY ON status “JMB Diamond” from April 2025. This will apply to “Emerald”, the highest tier of oneworld elite status.
