Miffy Exhibition Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of Miffy’s Birth” was held in Tokyo. More than 200 pieces, including original drawings in Japan for the first time.

Matsuya Ginza (3-6-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will hold “70th Birthday Anniversary Miffy Exhibition” from April 23 to May 12, 2025. The venue is Event Square on the 8th floor.

Under the theme of “More, More, Miffy,” original drawings and sketches of all 32 picture books in the “Miffy” series, which marks 70 years since its birth in 1955, will be exhibited for the first time in Japan. The exhibition will also feature over 200 works and materials, including original drawings of “Usako-chan Otomari ni Iku” (1988) and “Usako-chan no Daisuki na Obaachan” (1996), both of which are in Japan for the first time, as well as early paintings, paperback book bindings, poster designs, etc., to explore Miffy’s appeal.

The exhibition will be held at the Tokyo venue (Matsuya Ginza) and travel throughout Japan until 2026. More details will be announced on the official website.
