Logos Corporation, which develops the outdoor brand “LOGOS,” has released the “LOGOS Carrot Lantern,” a small carrot-shaped lantern. It is priced at 2,970 yen.
The Logos Maple Leaf logo is designed to look like a carrot leaf, and the carrot’s content, the maple leaf, is an original insect-eaten version. When lit, the warm orange light glows with a more carrot-like appearance, creating a bright and fun atmosphere. Because of its pop design, it can be used not only as a lantern but also as interior decoration.
The lantern is energy storage type and can be recharged without using dry batteries. Equipped with a power bank function, it can also charge a smartphone or tablet by connecting a cable from the USB output port.
The lighting mode can be switched by pressing the switch, and there are four patterns: “warm” orange, “neutral” and “white”, and “flickering”, which is reminiscent of the flickering of a flame. In addition, the brightness can be dimmed steplessly by pressing and holding the button.
It can be used in four ways: suspended, mounted, on a tripod, or with a magnet, and can be placed anywhere you like. In addition, it has a screw hole for a tripod, so it can be used on a commercially available camera tripod to illuminate from a high place.
The main unit measures 6 x 3.8 x 14.5 cm (W x D x H). The main body weighs 90g and is lightweight, making it easy to hang on a backpack and carry, and just right for a children’s light. It is rainproof and can handle sudden rain or fog.
