The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Record of Discussions (R/D) with the Egyptian government on December 17 in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, for the technical cooperation project “Establishment of Waste Reduction and Reduction Approach Project in Port Said Governorate.

Business Objectives
This project aims to analyze the current status of waste management in Port Said Province, conduct a pilot project targeting residents and businesses, and systematize the approach in order to strengthen the capacity of the Waste Management Regulatory Agency to establish and promote the Port Said Approach, which will contribute to waste generation reduction and reduction, and thereby contribute to the piloting of the Port Said Approach in other provinces. This project aims to strengthen the capacity of the Waste Management and Regulation Agency to establish and disseminate the Port Said Approach, which contributes to the control and reduction of waste generation, by systematizing the approach.
