JR Kyushu will release “JR Cupo Privilege Ticket” on January 22 via JR Kyushu Internet Reservation and JR Kyushu Application.
Ticket for reserved-seat of Shinkansen and limited express trains, which includes a ticket and a limited express ticket, can be purchased only with “JR Qupo”, which is accumulated by using SUGOCA and JQ CARD. For example, a regular reserved-seat ticket for the Shinkansen between Hakata Station and Kagoshima Chuo Station is normally priced at 10,640 yen, but can be purchased with 5,000 points for the “JR Cupo Privilege Ticket.
In conjunction with this campaign, the “★Super Point Festival★Connecting JR Kyushu Campaign” is being held until February 28, 2012. During the campaign period, JR Kyushu Web members who register as JR Kyushu Web members, enter the campaign, and log in to the JR Kyushu application and fulfill other conditions will be selected by lottery to receive JR Qipo points. In addition, those who download the JR Qipo application for the first time and spend a cumulative total of 10,000 yen or more at participating stores during the campaign period will receive 100,000 points by drawing, and everyone who fails to download the application will receive 1,000 points.
The exchange service between JR Qipo and Ponta points will end on August 31, 2025.
