Hoshino Resort to Hold “Deserted Island Afternoon Tea” with Exclusive View. From April at the Resonare Guam

Posted on 2025-01-082025-02-11 by Editor in Chief

Hoshino Resort’s “Resonare Guam” (445 Governor Carlos G. Camacho Rd., Tamuning, Guam 96913) will offer a limited-time activity, “Desert Island Afternoon Tea,” from April 1 to June 30.

This optional plan includes a 10-minute kayak ride from the beach in front of the hotel to an uninhabited island, and upon arrival, guests can enjoy a relaxing tea time in beach chairs set up at a point with a spectacular view. The special afternoon tea set includes seasonal tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, banana roll cake, custard pie, sandwiches, smoked salmon, roast beef wrapped with vegetables, and other bite-sized sweets and savories that can easily be enjoyed on the beach.

Alpat Island, directly accessible from the Resonare Guam, is a government-managed uninhabited island. The surrounding ocean is crystal clear, and participants can enjoy their private time snorkeling and swimming to observe tropical fish.

The fee is $80 per person plus 10% service charge. Includes kayak (1 kayak per 2 people), life jacket, beach shoes, and afternoon tea set. The experience is limited to hotel guests, with a maximum of four people per group, and a minimum age of six years old is recommended. Reservations will be accepted from February 1 on the hotel’s official website.

The first overseas facility under the Risonare brand, Risonare Guam faces a calm, shallow beach surrounded by coral reefs, and is popular for its beautiful sunsets and full range of activities. The hotel has 429 rooms, from $204 per night (double occupancy, breakfast and water park admission included).
