Club Tourism has launched the first official tour to visit the stage of “The Gourmet of Solitude,” a theatrical movie released today, January 10, as a new product of “Teletext Travel,” a joint project with the TV Tokyo Group. The tour, titled “A 3-day Blissful Trip to Nagasaki and the Goto Islands to Savor Island Gourmet,” departs from Haneda between March and May, and costs 169,000 yen per person.

This is a trip to taste Goto beef and fresh fish from Goto at inns and restaurants that boast of their cuisine. The menu is said to be the same as that enjoyed by Goro in the movie. A local guide or a bus guide will take you to the filming location and famous places. The tour will also include a ride on a marine cab and an introduction on the program “Teach us, Tour Guru” by TVO! Tour Guru,” which is a program that is difficult to visit by individuals. In this program, Masayuki Kusumi, the author of “The Gourmet of Solitude,” will be one of the first to experience the tour (the program will be broadcast on January 13 and 14).

In addition, tour participants will receive an original “Hungry Soup Spoon” as a gift. Single travelers are welcome to use a single room at no extra charge. Kansai departure is also available.
