The park was opened to the press today, January 14, along with a preview performance, and we will bring you an early photo-focused look at the park!
Tokyo Disneyland will hold “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World” from January 14 to March 16 as the third installment of the special event Disney Palpalooza.
The park is transformed into a land of sweets! Delicious-looking decorations are plentiful!
Disney Palpalooza is a coined word combining Pal, meaning “friends,” and Palooza, meaning “a party where everyone gets together. The event will be held from 2024 under the concept of “having the most fun with friends, frolic, and play,” and will star different characters, including Minnie Mouse in the first installment, Donald Duck in the second, and Vanellope in the current “Sugar Rush” movie.
The theme of the park is “The World Made of Candy as Imagined by Vanellope,” with plenty of gorgeous and delicious-looking decorations just like in the movie. The center of the World Bazaar is decorated with objects, and the plaza in front of Cinderella Castle is decorated with banners and photolocations. Even the trash cans and parasols add to the colorful and sweet atmosphere.
Incidentally, a new attraction featuring Vanellope is scheduled to appear in Tomorrowland in 2026 or later. It could be said that this event is the perfect way to preview the world and the character ahead of time.
