It’s a Small World” is an attraction based on the pavilion that Walt Disney created for the 1964 New York World’s Fair. After the expo, it was moved to Disneyland in Anaheim, U.S.A., and later similar attractions were built in Disney parks around the world.

Tokyo Disneyland will run the popular “It’s a Small World” attraction as “It’s a Small World with Groot” where you can meet Marvel characters for a limited time. The period is from January 15 to June 30.

Depart with Groot on the happiest boat trip in the world with a classic song that you can’t help but hum along with!

The main attraction of this attraction is to enjoy the “happiest boat ride in the world” with the famous song “Small World” created by the Sherman Brothers, Richard and Robert Sherman, who are indispensable figures in Disney music. Fans will also remember that the third verse of the song was newly released at D23 in 2024.

It’s a Small World” has teamed up with Marvel for “It’s a Small World with Groot”. For Tokyo Disneyland, this is the first time that Marvel Studios characters will appear in an attraction, and it has been the talk of the town since its announcement.

The main character is Groot from the movie “Guardians of the Galaxy. You will see Groot meeting his friends around the world and experiencing the culture and music of different regions surrounded by children in a heartwarming way.

Of course, inside the attraction, visitors can also watch their superhero friends from the movie in their adorable forms as they enjoy their vacation on Earth.

You’ll meet Groot’s sidekick Rocket, Star-Lord, Gamora, Mantis and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, Black Panther, Ant-Man and Waps, Captain Marvel and Thor, and many more. Captain Marvel and Thor, and more.

From Europe to Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and the islands of the South Pacific, and of course Japan, you can enjoy the round-the-world cruise to the fullest while finding your favorite characters and listening to the sounds.

As for my impressions of the ride, if you turn toward the sound of Groot’s voice, you can easily find the location, so turn that way and you will enjoy the ride more. The familiar music is also mixed with sounds that you would expect if you have seen Marvel’s films. If you’ve seen Marvel’s films, you’ll know what I’m talking about, so it was interesting to learn more about the music. It was interesting to hear guitars, retro electronic sounds, and other arrangements that you would notice only if you knew the usual “It’s a Small World” songs.
