The limited-edition goods on sale here are “symmetrical” in keeping with the matching birthday theme. The lineup includes a mascot of My Melody and Kuromi wearing the same new costumes (3,850 yen), a catsuit (2,970 yen), a fur charm (1,980 yen), a mirror (2,750 yen), and a Galaga-style acrylic charm (1,430 yen). Other items on sale include towels, clear files, and notepads featuring the event’s main visual. It is also recommended that friends and couples enjoy matching pairs.
A must-see for all My Melody fans! The “Birthday Doll” (7,150 yen), a plush My Melody doll, will be available in time for My Melody’s birthday on January 18, and from February 1 to 3, a “Birthday Doll Handover Event” will be held where visitors can receive the doll directly from My Melody and enjoy a commemorative photo with her. (advance reservations required, 9,630 yen per person). The campaign will also feature My Melody as the star of the show, including an illumination show in which Puro Village will be illuminated with My Melody’s lovely music and the “My Melody & Kuromi Anniversary Party” theme song, and My Melody will be in charge of announcing the closing of PuroLand. My Melody will take charge of the closing announcement of Puroland and other campaigns starring My Melody.
