Walt Disney Japan will release a new spring cherry blossom-themed collection at Disney Stores on January 24. Disney Flagship Tokyo and Tokyo Disney Resort stores, as well as the official online store, will begin sales on January 21.
The new collection focuses on Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Marie the “fashionable cat” enjoying cherry blossom viewing, and Stitch. Pooh will feature items with newly drawn illustrations.
The highlight of the collection are the cherry blossom-colored “plushies” (3,600 yen to 3,800 yen each), which feature a cute figure dressed up in cherry blossom petals. The soft texture and fluffy design of the fluffy peach-colored petals that have fluttered down will captivate you.
The Winnie the Pooh items are gently finished in a gradation of light purple and pink. The lineup includes a leisure sheet (1,800 yen) and shopping bag (950 yen), perfect for spring outings and leisure activities.
In addition, a new random type “Secret Key Chain” (8 types, 900 yen each) will also be released. Each of them depicts Baymax, Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Tonsuke, Miss Bunny, Stitch, and Disney Marie on a cherry shape clear part.
Also on offer are figures (1,900 yen each) of the highly popular Little Green Men from the “Toy Story” series. The figures are dressed in haori hakama, kimono, and taiyaki, and are a delightful and playful sight to behold. The figures are highly collectible, and if you collect them, be sure to get them.
