Bushcraft and cooking in one. Knife with exquisite curves made by a long-established tool knife maker.

Posted on 2025-01-212025-02-27 by Editor in Chief

Kanzawa Tekko is pre-selling bushcraft knives from its own brand FEDECA on Makuake.

The regular price is 25,850 yen, but the company is offering a 15% discount (21,973 yen) through Makuake Discount.

The “exquisite curve” from the blade to the handle makes it easy to “push off” and “chop” with the knife. The full tang construction from the handle to the blade makes batoning possible. The outward curve of the blade makes it easy to split wood, and the blade angle is the same as that of a kitchen knife, making it easy to use for cooking and feathering sticks.

The steel is V-Gold No. 10 (VG10), a stainless steel material, which is not only rust-resistant but also easy to sharpen and cuts as well as carbon steel.

The handle is available in a total of five types: four types of laminated reinforced wood and multi-colored with urethane coating. A special leather sheath and strap leather strap are also included as standard equipment.

It has an overall length of 22.5 cm, a blade length of 10.5 cm, a blade thickness of 5.6 mm, and a weight of approximately 225 g.

Personalized imprinting is available as an option (1,320 yen). Sharpening of this brand’s products is available free of charge (shipping fee not included).
