Gunma Flower Park will open in the fall of 2025 under a new name. Significantly renewed as a facility where visitors can play with flowers throughout the year, including hands-on production.

Gunma Flower Park (2471-7 Kashiwagura-cho, Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture) will change its name to “Gunma Flower Park+” and reopen in the fall of 2025. Prior to this, the designated manager, Gunma Flower Park JV, released a teaser website.

The new facility will be transformed into a hands-on park where visitors can not only appreciate flowers, but also enjoy seasonal activities that make use of flowers and nature. In addition to flower picking, wreath making, and swag (dried flower wall decorations) lessons, visitors will be able to try their hand at grass and tree dyeing, bamboo bark weaving (a traditional Gunma Prefecture craft), and nature observation.

From spring through fall, the facility’s signature roses, hydrangeas, and clematis will be at their best, and in winter, visitors can view the greenhouse garden, seedhead garden, and lights. The facility will also feature an indoor restaurant, café, and souvenir store surrounded by greenery, making it a facility that can be enjoyed year-round.
