Venus Travel, a member of the SHK Line Group, has put on sale a 4-day tour on the New Nihonkai Ferry, “Chotto Walk at Takeda Castle Ruins in the Sky and World Heritage Himeji Castle,” starting and ending in Otaru. The departure date is March 29, and the tour fee is 36,800 yen per person (no additional charge for single participants).

Departing from Otaru Port on the evening of the first day and arriving at Maizuru Port on the evening of the second day, we will visit famous places in Hyogo Prefecture on the morning of the third day. The ruins of Takeda Castle, also known as “Machu Picchu in Japan,” is an important cultural property designated by the national government. Cherry blossoms are usually at their best from late March to early April.

After lunch, you can visit Himeji Castle, a national treasure and World Heritage Site with over 400 years of history. The beautiful sight of the castle, also known as “Shirasagi-jo” (White Egret Castle) against the blue spring sky is a popular collaboration with the cherry blossoms.

Both spots will be accompanied by a local guide and include one breakfast and one lunch. Dinner will be free at Nankinmachi in Kobe, one of the three major Chinatowns in Japan. After dinner, the tour will depart from Maizuru Port, arriving at Otaru Port on the evening of the 4th day and disbanding.

The minimum number of participants is 20. Applications will be accepted up to 14 days prior to departure.
