Anchor newly enters the residential storage battery business! One-stop service from online quotation to installation, up to 15-year warranty

On January 29, Anchor Japan held a new business announcement event in Tokyo, announcing its entry into the household storage battery business.

Home-use storage batteries are equipment that allows you to install storage batteries and solar panels in your home to store the power generated by the solar panels in the storage batteries, and then feed the power from the storage batteries into the home’s power system itself.

The “Anker Solix XJ Storage Battery Set” announced by Anker this time is a set of household storage batteries and a power conditioner that controls electricity.

The storage batteries are lined up in three capacity bands of 5000Wh, 10,000Wh, and 15,000Wh, depending on the family composition and the amount of electricity used.

For example, the 5,000Wh is said to be ideal for those who want to make effective use of surplus power on a daily basis and ensure a minimum amount of power for refrigerators and smartphone recharging in case of emergency.

The 10000Wh capacity is suitable for a standard family of four and can cover a good amount of power for daily use, and in case of emergency, it can be used for about two days for home appliances, including heating and cooling, as well as for charging the refrigerator and smartphone.

The 15,000 Wh capacity is large enough for a family of four or more people or an all-electric home, providing up to three days’ worth of power.

Additional units can be installed depending on changes in the family structure, such as the growth of children.

Prices will vary depending on estimates, but will range from the high 1 million yen to just under 3 million yen (installation costs not included). Anchor brand solar panels will also be rolled out this spring.
