Moomin Story will open a new activity, the Moomin Valley Skating Rink, on the terrace of the cove at Moomin Valley Park (327-6 Miyazawa, Hanno, Saitama). The pre-opening will be on February 1, and the grand opening on February 8.
The rink, themed on the story from the comic “Yucky Winter” in which the Moomin family, who spend the winter without hibernation, try winter sports with Brisk who loves sports, is 5 x 18 meters in size.
The eco-friendly eco rink is made of resin, and even beginners and children can experience smooth and comfortable sliding. The eco-friendly rink is also characterized by its ability to keep clothes clean even if the skater falls down, and it has an area where families can take a break and watch over their children. Skating experience fee and equipment rental (skates, gloves, helmets, protectors) are free.
On the grand opening day, guest professional figure skater Nobunari Oda will demonstrate skating, and a photo session with Moomintroll will be held.
