Ghibli Park will hold its first “Spring Dondoko Festival” from March to April. Some events can be enjoyed without tickets.

One year since the opening of the Valley of the Witches Marching band performance An event in which the Toho High School Marching Band Club, active in Aichi Prefecture, will parade through the European-style streets depicted in the films “The Witch’s Delivery Service,” “Howl’s Moving Castle” and “Arya and the Witch” while performing. Date: March 16, 2025

Venue: In the Valley of the Witches

This is an event in which visitors wearing special earphones powered by au can hear music and sound effects that are linked to the surrounding scenery. This event can be experienced in and around the Ghibli Park areas, as well as on the pathways of the Expo 2005 Aichi Prefecture parks that connect the areas. The event will return in the fall of 2024. Advance registration is required, and participation is possible even without a Ghibli Park ticket. Dates: March 21-23, 2025

Mononoke no Sato Ceramic Art Experience The area around Ghibli Park is a pottery production area known for Seto ware. Workshops will be held for both children and adults to make original pottery in a satoyama landscape inspired by “Princess Mononoke. Dates: March 29 and 30, 2025
