Sumitomo Mitsui Card is conducting “Osaka Limited Visa’s Touch Settlement Cash Back Campaign No. 5” until March 31, which offers up to 50% discount.

After pre-registering on the “Visa Wari” campaign website, customers who use Visa touch payment at participating restaurants and daily necessities stores in Osaka Prefecture will receive 30% of the amount spent (up to 1,500 yen) as cash back.

Also, if you use Visa touch payment with your smartphone, 20% of the total amount spent during the campaign period (up to 500 yen) will be returned. However, this offer only does not apply to debit and prepaid cards.

If you achieve all two rewards, you will receive up to ¥2,000 at restaurants and up to ¥2,000 at daily necessities stores, for a total of up to ¥4,000 in rewards.

In addition, as a W-chance benefit, if you spend 1,000 yen or more once, you can get 5 yen/10 yen/500 yen cash back by drawing lots. The lottery can be entered through an e-mail received after using touch payment.
