OWNDAYS and Huawei Japan will release “Titanium Edition” from “OWNDAYS x HUAWEI Eyewear 2,” a pair of “hearing glasses” with built-in directional speakers, on February 14. The price is 37,800 yen. Prior to the release, pre-orders began on February 7 at the OWNDAYS online store.
It has a titanium front and is available in two colors, dark gunmetal and silver, in full-rim and half-rim types based on a square shape. The body weight is approximately 29.5g-32.5g without lenses.
Aspheric lenses with optimal thinness are offered for an additional ¥0, and can be customized with colored lenses and blue light cut lenses as options.
The symmetrical speaker design on the top and bottom minimizes sound leakage, and its ability to identify ambient sounds automatically reduces the volume in quiet places such as elevators and conference rooms. The battery can be fully recharged in about 50 minutes, enabling up to 11 hours of music playback and 9 hours of voice calls. It is also waterproof to IP54.
With the release of the “Titanium Edition,” the price of the previous model was revised from 37,800 yen to 32,800 yen on February 7.
