Takara Tomy Arts will release the figure series “Nobism # Nobism Lion King” in early February. Priced at 400 yen each. There are four types in total: Scar, Mufasa, Simba, and Timon & Pumbaa.
The “#NobiZum” series is a series of palm-sized gacha (gadgets) featuring animals in “Nobi Nobi” poses. The series has developed up to now to its fourth installment, which was based on the motif of the animals themselves. This time, for the first time, a character from “The Lion King” will appear.
A major point of this series is the modeling that captures the characteristics of the characters and the expression of their animal-like skeletons and body shapes. The faithful representation of the story is also a highlight. For example, the scar in Scar’s left eye from his past and his raised ribs are well reflected.
The eye contact between the characters, including Simba and Mufasa, is also a point of interest. When placed next to each other, the two characters look at each other and the atmosphere they create can also be reproduced. Timon and Pumbaa are also included in one capsule, as are the two characters.
