Nomura Real Estate Master Fund Investment Corporation and Nomura Real Estate Commerce will reopen the commercial facility “Nakaza Kuidaore Building” (1-7-21 Dotonbori, Chuo-ku, Osaka City) at 11:30 a.m. on March 26.
The Nakaza Kuidaore Building is an amusement building well-known for its Osaka mascot, Kuidaore Taro. From the sixth floor above ground to the first basement floor, there are spots where visitors can experience Osaka’s food, entertainment, and Nakaza culture. After the renovation, the building will be relaunched as a food entertainment building that “concentrates all the fun of Osaka.
Yoshimoto Kogyo’s new business model “Yoshimoto Dotonbori Theater” will open on the 6th floor. This will be the company’s first base of operations in Dotonbori. The theater aims to be a place for the development of new projects by Yoshimoto Kogyo’s comedians and employees, and on holidays, Yose performances will be held. In addition to functioning as a restaurant theater, the company is also planning inbound performances.
On the 5th floor, GIRAFFE Japan is an entertainment complex. During the daytime, the facility will be used for shows that inherit the Dotonbori atmosphere and make full use of cutting-edge “XR (cross reality)” technology, and at night, it will be operated as a nightclub produced by performer EBIKEN.
Other stores scheduled to open include the amusement facility “Surplus Osaka Dotonbori Asobi Town” (1st floor), Sushiro and Odashimon Odashimon Pasta and Amaimon (2nd floor).
