Iwatani’s “Well-Balanced Pot”, a plate exclusively for cassette stove. Simultaneously simmering and baking, Genghis Khan/Sukiyaki/Cheese bulgogi, etc.

Iwatani Corporation has released a new accessory for Iwatani Cassette Hoo, the “Well-Balanced Pot”. It will be available at the official online store “Iwatani iCollect,” the directly managed store “Iwatani Outdoor Shop BASE,” home centers, electronics retailers, specialty stores, and large supermarkets nationwide (open price).

This plate is designed to simultaneously enjoy hot pot cooking and yakiniku, the top two popular dishes using cassette stoves (according to the 2024 Values Survey), and has a safety design with a foot that fits the pot of the Iwatani “Cassette Fu” series (sold separately). Note that it cannot be used with junior-type small stoves.

The impressive-looking golden body made of aluminum alloy is coated with fluorine resin, making it non-stick and easy to clean. It measures 340 x 295 x 86.3 mm and weighs approximately 813 g.

It has a separate structure that transmits heat suitable for each of the inner “grilling section” and outer “pot section,” allowing the direct flame grilling section to cook crispy and juicy grilled meat and seafood. In addition, the fat from the grilled meat flows through the grooves into the pot section, adding umami and richness to the soup.

The pot portion is approximately 3.5 cm deep and has a capacity of approximately 750 mL, making it suitable not only for simmering but also for cooking roasted vegetables for Genghis Khan.

Other “well-prepared hot pots” can be used to enjoy grilled cheese bulgogi, seared sukiyaki hot pot, moo gata (Thai-style grilled meat & Thai-ski hot pot), grilled salted motsu & soy sauce motsu hot pot, and other dishes.
