HIS, NAKED, and Synastasia launched “XploreRide Hawaii produced by NAKED, INC.,” Hawaii’s first sightseeing entertainment tour utilizing XR technology, on February 13. The tour route is approximately 10.3 km around DFS Waikiki.
XploreRide is a coined word combining “XR (cross reality)”, “Explore (adventure)” and “Ride (ride)”. The next-generation XR technology “RideVision” will be introduced to EV buses and offered as an interactive XR bus tour.
The tour will take visitors on a bus tour of Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, and other popular sightseeing spots in Honolulu, while exploring a “hidden underwater city in Hawaii” that combines actual scenery with digital technology.
When participants put on the special head-mounted display, the guiding spirit “Ancestral Spirit Aumakua” appears. While experiencing nature such as coral reefs and volcanoes, participants collect mana stones to solve the mysteries of Hawaii.
