Jumbo Ferry will launch the “Stay with ‘Aoi'” campaign between Kobe and Takamatsu on February 20.
The route includes taking a ferry departing from Kobe Port at 19:45, arriving at Takamatsu Port at midnight, turning around, and returning directly to Kobe Port at 5:15 the following night. Since the ferry returns to the original port, passengers can use the nighttime onboard as a hotel or Internet cafe. This is the first attempt for a ferry in Japan.
There are two types of cabins to choose from: “Nobi Nobi Family Private Room” and “Nobi Nobi Balcony Private Room,” with rates starting at 7,990 yen per night. Reservations can be made by phone one month prior to the date of use.
Campaign users will also receive a limited edition “Welcome Card” designed by artist Ame Gemba.
