Ryohin Keikaku will renew the menu at MUJI Diner Ginza on the basement floor and the menu and interior of MUJI Coffee & Bakery on the first floor of MUJI Ginza (3-3-5 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on February 21.
MUJI Diner Ginza restaurant will offer a series of new dishes from various countries on its menu over a period of time under the theme of “So-no Shoku (simple food),” reflecting the culinary culture and wisdom of life in various countries around the world. For the first time, from February 2 to April 17, MUJI Diner Ginza will learn from Chinese cuisine, offering a lineup of dishes such as “Gong Bao Ji Ding” (stir-fried chicken and cashew nuts), “La Bai Sai” (sweet and sour pickled Chinese cabbage), and Sichuan-style pepper, carrot, and dried bean curd salad. The restaurant also features dishes with ingredients that are usually difficult to use, such as octopus with its legs removed, fish with crooked bones, and gibier.
It will be sold as a set meal for lunch and as an a la carte dish to be enjoyed with drinks for dinner. The next event is scheduled to feature Thai cuisine.
MUJI Coffee & Bakery, where bread made from the finest ingredients is baked by artisans in the store every day, has been redesigned to provide shoppers, people working in the Ginza area, and tourists with an assortment of products that they can easily enjoy and a store layout that makes it easy to choose products.
In response to customer demand, croissant and baguette sandwiches have been added to the sandwich series, and bread made with seasonal ingredients will also be sold in conjunction with the produce section on the first floor. In addition to the popular “Ginza Blend,” which is roasted in the store, drinks such as lattes and Americano will be served using a newly introduced espresso machine.
