Huis Ten Bosch will hold “Huis Ten Bosch in Spring”, an event where visitors can enjoy spectacular entertainment in the European city-like park. The event will run from February 28 to June 29.
In conjunction with this, a limited number of original “Miffy” goods, which celebrate their 70th anniversary this year, will be newly released. The “Kingdom Flower Miffy,” a unique anniversary item, features a spring-like design with an image of a crown of ears, flowers of Huis Ten Bosch, and a castle. The lineup includes a plush catsuit, a plush clip, and various stationery items.
A “Royal Flower Ninece” version, dressed in Dutch folk costume and holding a flower, is also available. The lineup includes a plush catsuit, a plush chain, and a variety of tableware, as well as a standard plush toy to take with you on a stroll through the park.
During the event period, restaurants in the park will offer spring-only gourmet dishes featuring local Nagasaki vegetables and fish. The entertainment shows will include the “Miffy Flower Parade” during the daytime, when visitors can enjoy the spectacular view of flowers in full bloom, and the “Shower of Lights Shower of Lights” at night, when powerful fireworks, fountains, and live music will compete for the first time.
Other highlights include the “One Million Tulip Festival” (February 7 – April 6), where colorful tulips bloom in profusion, and the “One Million Rose Festival” (April 26 – May 25), where the entire site is filled with the fragrance of mellow roses.
