JR East will hold the “Touch de Go︕Go︕Go︕Go︕Go︕Campaign” to give away JRE POINTs by lottery to those who use the “Touch de Go︕Shinkansen! The campaign will run for two periods: from April 1 to May 11 and from July 19 to August 31.
Touch de Go︕Shinkansen is a service that allows passengers to board unreserved seats on the Shinkansen using the balance of their Suica or other transportation system IC cards (including mobile services). If you take the Joetsu Shinkansen or Hokuriku Shinkansen to/from Echigo-Yuzawa-Niigata or Karuizawa-Nagano stations, 555 JRE POINT points will be awarded to 555 winners by lottery (for each line and period). JRE POINT Web site and use with a registered Suica card.
Shinkansen users who have not used the “Touch de Go! 100 people from each line area will receive 1,500 JRE POINT by lottery for each period.
