Tokyu Land Corporation, Tokyu Corporation, Ishikatsu Exterior, and Tokyu Community Corporation opened a portion of the specified park facilities at YOYOGI Park (1-1-1 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which has been developed under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Park-PFI (Park-Publicly-Financed Initiative), to the public on February 20. The park is located in the Jinnan area of Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.
The new facilities include “Nigiwai Hiroba” (lively plaza) where visitors can relax on natural grass, “Sender Terrace” which functions as a stage for events, “Outdoor Urban Sports Park” where children and adults can enjoy skateboarding, and “Park Administration Office” (information center with nursing room and first-aid room). The park will be open to the public. In addition, the commercial zone (cafes, restaurants, etc.), a park facility subject to public bidding, is scheduled to open sequentially from mid-March onward, and other specific park facilities will be put into service in June.
