JR Tokai will renew the “JR Tokai & 16 Private Railways Ride☆Tabi Ticket,” which has been on sale all year round, for sale on April 1 and use from April 5. Fares will remain unchanged at 8,620 yen for adults and 4,040 yen for children.
The Noritetsu Tabi Ticket is a free ticket that allows unlimited rides on all JR Tokai conventional lines and ordinary and rapid trains of 16 neighboring private railways for two consecutive days. If you purchase a separate limited express ticket, you can also board limited express trains and the Tokaido Shinkansen “Hikari” and “Kodama” trains between Atami and Maibara. Up to four trips on the Shinkansen are allowed.
In FY2025, the period of use will be July 21 (Monday, national holiday) to 22 (Tuesday), etc. However, the GW, Obon, and year-end and New Year holidays will not be covered. However, GW, Obon, and year-end and New Year holidays are excluded.
In addition to JR stations and major travel agencies within the free section, tickets will also be available through JR West’s online reservation service “e5489”. When reservations are made via “e5489,” the ticket must be picked up at a major station within the free section.
After the renewal, only JR Tokai’s conventional lines will be able to use the automatic ticket gates.
