Tottori Prefecture will exhibit “Golden Kabuto” at its antenna store “Tottori-Oyama Shinbashikan” (1-11-7 Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo) from February 22.

The “Flaxen Odor Full-Scaled Kinboshi Helmet” from the long-established doll store “Ningyo no Hanafusa” (3-1 Kozan-cho Higashi, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture) in Tottori Prefecture, where Prime Minister Ishiba is from, which was presented as a gift to U.S. President Trump by Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba at the Japan-U.S. Summit Meeting held in Washington, will be exhibited.

The “Flaxen Odoshi Manten Kinsei Kabuto” is a Kabuto decoration made by processing metal from scratch, and the blow-back is made of Shosoin grape arabesque pattern brocade by Tatsumura Bijutsu Orimono, which was established in 1894. The traditional technique of “Matching Bowl” not only gives an impression of elegance and refinement, but also combines functionality and aesthetic value. In addition, the metal fittings, such as the base ring, are said to incorporate an arabesque pattern, which has the meaning of “prosperity of descendants” and “longevity.

On February 19, the company’s 14th president, Eichiya Hidetomo, donated the doll to Tottori Prefecture’s governor, Shinji Hirai. As of February 22, “Flaxen Odoshi Manten Kinsei Kabuto” can be seen only at the Tottori branch of Hanafusa Dolls and the Tottori-Okayama Shinbashi Kan in Japan.

The store will also display and sell Bentenmusume Junmai Ginjo Tamakae and Chiyomusubi Junmai Daiginjo Tsuyoku, both local Tottori sake said to have been served on the government plane to the Japan-U.S. summit. Bentenmusume Junmai Ginjo Tamakae and Chiyomusubi Junmai Daiginjo Tsuyoku 50 will be served on the menu at the Momotenashi Restaurant on the second floor. Bentenmusume Junmai Ginjo Tamakae is priced at 800 yen per glass and 1,500 yen per tokkuri. Chiyomusubi Junmai Daiginjo Strong 50 is 900 yen by the glass and 1,700 yen by the Tokugari.
