NANGA has announced the DOWN DUVET SINGLE/DOUBLE recycled down quilt and the SONAE BAG 350/450 disaster-resistant sleeping bag; the SONAE BAG will go on sale on February 21, and the DOWN DUVET will be available soon (delivery in late March).
Both products are entry-level models. They use recycled down (80% down blend, 20% feathers), which Nanga collects from “unused” down from its Re:ACT down quilt refurbishment service and refines in-house.
DOWN DUVET will be available in a limited color “GRY,” which is not available in the “GOOD SLEEPING” series of home-use futons. It is available in two sizes, priced at 34,650 yen for single and 46,750 yen for double.
The “SONAE BAG” is a product that includes a sleeping bag and air mat in case of emergency.
The sleeping bag has a feather weight (350g/450g) suitable for spring through fall and will be useful in the camping scene for a long time. It has a “tapered-shape” construction that utilizes the advantages of mummy and envelope shapes, with a loose-fitting footprint and a drawcord around the neck for easy temperature adjustment.
The air mat is a 3-season model with an R-value of 2.9. An inflation dry sack (storage bag instead of a pump) for inflating the air mat is included.
Prices are 42,900 yen for the 350g down weight and 44,330 yen for the 450g. The main body size of both sleeping bags is 190 x 81.5 cm and can accommodate up to 180 cm in height.
