Nagoya Station Kaihatsu announced that it will start construction in April on a complex it is developing at the east exit of JR Okazaki Station, aiming to open in the spring of 2026.
The steel-framed, partly wooden, three-story building with a site area of approximately 1,000 m2 and a total floor area of approximately 1,500 m2 will house nine tenants, including restaurants, retail shops, and medical facilities convenient for daily life.
The facility is connected to the bus rotary in the station square and the pedestrian deck above the bus rotary, and adopts a simple design based on silver tones that harmonizes with the station platform. The facility will enhance the circulation around the station and create a lively atmosphere in the town.
The name of the facility, tenants, and opening date will be announced at a later date.
