Business Objectives
By improving the facilities and training equipment of the nine prefectural teacher training centers, the project aims to strengthen the implementation system for in-service teacher training throughout Laos, centered on teacher training schools, and thereby contribute to improving the quality of basic education in Laos.

(a) Details of facilities, equipment, etc.: [Facilities] Improvement of facilities at 9 prefectural teacher training centers (mainly training and lecture rooms (large training room (60-seat capacity), small training room (30-seat capacity)), multipurpose rooms, etc.), total floor area of approximately 5,060 m2
Equipment] Practical equipment necessary for in-service teacher training (mainly 9 projectors, 9 sound systems, 9 online conferencing tools, etc.)
(b) Consulting services include: detailed design, bidding-related operational support, and construction and procurement supervision.
Maximum Amount of Provision
1.27 billion yen
Scheduled implementation period
53 months (including detailed design and bidding period) The project will be completed when the facility is put into service.
