Tateyama Kurobe Kanko will start advance sales of web tickets for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, a mountain tourism route connecting Toyama and Nagano prefectures, on February 28 for some popular sections. Regular sales for all other sections will begin on March 14.
On the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, visitors can take six different vehicles, including cable cars, buses, and ropeways, between Tateyama Station (Toyama Prefecture) and Ogisawa (Nagano Prefecture) to enjoy the spectacular views of the 3000-meter-high Tateyama Mountain Range and Kurobe Dam.
It will be in operation from April 15 to November 30, 2025. The Tateyama Tunnel Electric Bus (between Murodo and Daikanbo), a new vehicle to be introduced to replace the Tateyama Tunnel Trolleybus, which was retired last fall, is also scheduled to be in operation from April 15.
This year, the company plans to offer a new “Train Eco Ticket” that uses the Toyama Chiho Railway and an early-bird discount ticket “Early Bird 10” for the summer and fall seasons.
On the official website of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, the “Let’s go and see! Mikuriga Ike! and “Wolf Children’s Rain and Snow Panel Exhibition,” as well as a stamp rally. Also, the winning works of the 10th Tateyama Kurobe Photo Contest “#Tatekuro Photo Contest” for 2024 are available on the special site.
