Kobe Dentetsu Ultra Project” started. Special Ultraman train, collaboration goods, and Toshi Furuya’s appearance at the departure ceremony.

Kobe Electric Railway will hold the “Kobe Electric Railway Ultra Project” in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions’ “Ultraman.

Kobe Electric Railway’s Series 3000 cars, which debuted in 1973, are called “Ultraman trains” in part because of their coloring. In response to this, a dream tag team was finally realized with “Ultraman,” which has been running in the series since 1966.

The project will include the operation of a special Memorial Train (reprinted paint job, 3015 formation), a stamp rally, an Ultra Hero show, and the sale of collaborative goods.

The Memorial Train will display a head mark in the shape of a color timer. An Ultraman figure will be mounted in the driver’s cab, and “Ultraman” voice will be broadcast in the train (before arrival at stations).

The bus will be available only once a morning on March 30, and will run one-way (approx. 20 minutes) from Tanigami Station on the Arima Line to Okaba Station on the Mita Line. Fares are 1,500 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for elementary school students and younger, and both include original goods. The number of participants will be limited to 120 (by lottery), and the application period is from March 3 to 13. Applications will be accepted on Kobe Electric Railway’s special website.

A departure ceremony will be held at Tanigami Station prior to the train’s operation. The event will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Admission is limited to passengers of the Memorial Train. Ultraman and his first suit actor Toshi Furuya are scheduled to appear at the departure ceremony.

The train will also be on display at Yanagami Station after the service. The exhibition will be open to visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on March 30, and numbered tickets (free of charge) are required to visit. Numbered tickets will be distributed in front of the ticket gate from 10:00 on the day. The number of visitors will be limited to the first 400 people, with 100 people changing places every 30 minutes.
