Walt Disney Japan unveiled a new series of “UniBestiez” at the Disney Store, unveiling original characters Yekc Rabbit and Ein Rabbit.
The new series is based on the story of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who are assigned to create an illustrated animal book for a new semester class at Disney University, and meet new friends in the mysterious world of illustrated books.
Yeck Rabbit is an adventurous rabbit boy. Ein Rabbit is a charming and caring rabbit girl. Each wears a sparkling tie and ribbon, a treasure given to them by Mickey Mouse and his friends, along with Mocha and Puddin from “UniBEARsity. Their names are also a reverse reading of Mickey Minnie.
To commemorate the start of the new series, plush toys (3,600 yen each) and plush keychains (2,600 yen each) will be available for purchase! Stay tuned for more news. The details of the story are available on the special page and on Youtube. Be sure to check it out as well.
