Ace released the highly durable aluminum luggage “Heritage Line” from the American luggage brand “Zero Halliburton” on March 1.
Three types are available in capacities of 28L, 34L, and 59L, priced at 176,000 yen (28L), 187,000 yen (34L), and 209,000 yen (59L), respectively. They are available in two colors, black and silver.
The body is made of No. 6000 series aluminum alloy, which is suitable for press working. This is the manufacturing method and material used at the time of Zero Halliburton’s founding, and while it is strong, other brands do not currently use it due to its thickness and weight.
In this model, we have succeeded in reducing the thickness of the body to 1 mm by using our unique processing technology. Highly durable and lightweight aluminum luggage has been realized.
The pressing process also eliminates the need for corner guards to reinforce the body, resulting in a beautiful form that looks as if it were carved out of a block of aluminum.
Other features include “silent casters” with built-in bearings to aid rotation, TS dial latch locks with one-touch opening, oil-damped “auto-return handles,” and adjustable inner dividers “flex dividers.
