Kärcher Japan will release the OC 5 Handy CB, a cordless mobile high-pressure cleaner that requires no power or water source, on March 31, 2012, and is available for pre-order on Amazon for 14,980 yen.
This cordless high-pressure cleaner weighs 0.76 kg, and its lithium-ion battery with a maximum allowable pressure of 2.4 MPa enables powerful cleaning. The maximum operating time is approximately 23 minutes. The battery can be recharged via USB Type-C cable and can be recharged in the car. Charging time is approximately 5.5 hours.
It comes standard with a hose and adapter for water supply from a plastic bottle or bucket, eliminating the need for a water source as well as a power supply. The maximum water discharge rate is 150 L/h (when self-priming), and the maximum usable water temperature is 40°C.
Accessories include a “5 in 1 nozzle” that allows switching between five different cleaning modes and a “cleaning agent tank” that enables foam car washing. The company also offers a wide variety of accessories sold separately, such as a cyclone jet nozzle and a terrace cleaner, which enable even more diverse cleaning options.
