Osaka Underground Mall will reopen on March 27 the commercial facility “NAMBA NANNAN” (5-chome, Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka City), which is directly connected to Osaka Metro Namba Station.
Directly connected to the “Namba Plaza” on the ground level, which will have its grand opening around the same time, the new facility will allow local business people and tourists to experience the “Marugoto tanoshii shitamachi ichiba” in preparation for the Osaka-Kansai Expo that will open in April. In addition to the first opening in the Kansai region of “Shippo Hot Pot”, a hot pot restaurant in the Kanto region, 22 new restaurants will open, including the first in the Namba area.
The interior has been redesigned to utilize wood and steel to create a warm and inviting space design reminiscent of a stroll through downtown. In addition, in light of the congestion to date, a new women’s restroom has been built for women with children and for women who use the restroom to change their makeup.
From March 27 to April 9, a “Digital Gift Certificate Present Campaign” on the official X (@nambanannan) and a “Digital Stamp Rally around the Nansan Street Shopping Arcade x NAMBA NANNAN 2 Facilities” with prizes such as tickets to the Osaka/Kansai Expo will be held to celebrate the renewal.
