On March 11, Korean Air changed its logo and announced a new corporate identity (CI). This is the first time in 41 years since 1984 that the company has changed its logo.
The new logo incorporates the modern and simple trends of recent years and continues the traditional image while refining the existing taiji mark. A Boeing 787-10 aircraft with the new logo and design was also unveiled and went into service on March 12.
The company also unveiled a new in-flight meal menu supervised by the chef who owns Cesta restaurant in Seoul, as well as updated tableware, bedding, and amenity kits.
These services will be offered on 10 major long-haul routes, including New York and Europe, and will be gradually expanded to other long-haul and medium- and short-haul routes.
